This gose is our collaboration with Chef Brad Carter, Michelin starred chef/owner of Carter’s of Moseley in Birmingham.
We started with a base of unmalted British heritage grains that Chef uses in his dishes at Carter’s, giving us the backbone of this classic sour beer. We then added salt from ancient underground salt brines in Droitwich, and a little citrusy magic from the wall woods of England, grand fir, for a stunning grapefruit aroma.
This beer is a great start to any meal, any toast or just to simply enjoy on its own. The woods can be a dark place but here the beer brings a fresh, citrusy light.
